Our Purpose
Sigma Phi Lambda is a Christian sorority. It exists for the sole purpose of glorifying our Lord
Jesus Christ and making His name great. This is done by providing a source of fellowship to Christian women who sincerely
seek to know His person, His will, and His ways. The sorority's purpose comes from the name "for the Lord."

the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that
with one heart and one mouth, you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Just a little about us
The The sorority is named Sisters for the Lord. The Greek Letters used to symbolize this are Sigma Phi Lambda, ΣΦΛ,
which is the basis for our symbol, the lamb.
We have service projects that we do to help out our community.
We also do all kinds os socal gathering to strengthen our bond of sisterhood, some things that we did in spring 2007 included
a social with a Christan Fraternie, Phi lamb softball, A day at the part with Sigma Phi Lambda, Movie nights with in the Alpha
Delta pledge class, a HUGE prayer event at park and our FORMAL . We look faward to the fall semestert to be full of wonderfull
felowship as well !
